Project Course

Master Project Course: P4 - Projekt: Forschung und Praxis I oder P5 - Projekt: Forschung und Praxis II

Course instructors: Prof. Dr. Tassilo SchusterBernhard Wittek, Dipl.-Kfm. | LSF entry

Course Overview

This course offers a specific project in cooperation with a partner company. Topics are generally strategic in nature and chosen by the participating firm, together with the course instructors. Students work in a team of 3-5 people and develop practical solutions within a project timeframe of approx. 3 months. There are usually 3-4 deadlines, where the project team presents (interim) results. This includes a kickoff meeting, one or more interim status updates, and a final presentation at the end of the project. In between, we offer weekly course sessions to coordinate project progress and discuss open questions with firm representatives when necessary. Student performance will be assessed based on the oral presentations, as well as the final presentation document (usually ppt) and further project documentation material, Excel models, etc., as required.

For the upcoming summer term 2018, we are offering a project course together with the global mobility consulting firm ExpatExperts. The project team will develop a growth strategy, based on a comprehensive market analysis. There is no specific regional focus.
